Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED or equivalent
  • phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
  • in lieu of work experience, phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
  • ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • strong communication skills
  • comfortable working under minimal supervision
  • flexibility to work overtime as needed
  • able to pass a standardized color blindness test
  • valid driver's license and clean driving record with reliable transportation
  • be at least 21 years old

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED or equivalent
  • phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
  • 3 years or more of phlebotomy experience preferred
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • proven track record in providing exceptional customer service

Job Duties

  • perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
  • collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc
  • perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
  • process billing information and collect payments as necessary
  • prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
  • maintain patient and specimen information logs
  • provide superior customer service to all patients
  • perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary
  • travel to additional sites when needed
