Currently, Labcorp's division, PAML, is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join their team in Woodinville, WA. This role involves performing blood collections through venipuncture and capillary techniques across all age groups, handling specimens for a variety of tests including drug screens and paternity tests, and ensuring accurate data entry of patient information. The position works Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with additional hours and rotating Saturdays as needed. As a Phlebotomist at Labcorp, you will serve as the face of the company by providing superior customer service, preparing specimens for testing, managing specimen logs, and performing administrative duties. The role also requires flexibility to travel to additional sites and contribute to the smooth operation of various testing processes.

Job Requirements
- Valid Washington State-issued Phlebotomy License or application filed with WA Department of Health at time of hire
- Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently or in team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Job Qualifications
- Valid Washington State-issued Phlebotomy License
- 3 or more months of phlebotomy experience preferred
- 6 or more months of current or prior Labcorp experience in phlebotomy preferred
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently or in team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Job Duties
- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
- Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
- Process billing information and collect payments when required
- Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs
- Provide superior customer service to all patients
- Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary
- Travel to additional sites when needed
