Job Requirements

  • licensed pharmacist in the state of Utah
  • bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or related field
  • minimum of 5 years inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
  • knowledge of USP 797/800 sterile compounding standards
  • experience managing pharmacy teams and operations
  • proficiency with EHR systems and pharmacy automation
  • strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor's degree in pharmacy or related field
  • licensed pharmacist in the state of Utah
  • minimum of 5 years experience in hospital pharmacy operations
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • knowledge of sterile compounding standards and medication safety protocols
  • experience with automation and pharmacy informatics
  • excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Job Duties

  • lead and oversee 24/7 inpatient pharmacy operations
  • champion sterile compounding excellence under USP 797/800 standards
  • drive medication safety and antimicrobial stewardship initiatives
  • optimize staffing models and scheduling
  • manage inventory, procurement, and diversion prevention
  • enhance automation and distribution workflows
  • support enterprise EHR optimization and clinical collaboration
