With over 28 years of experience, CAPS has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, same-day admixture services and solutions to hospitals and outpatient facilities nationwide. CAPS is renowned for its expertise in sterile injectable outsourcing, operating the largest 503A sterile injectable outsourcing network in the country along with three 503B registered outsourcing facilities that offer industry-leading batch compounding on a national scale. Safety and quality are at the core of CAPS' operations, making it the preferred 503B solution for many healthcare providers.
Central Admixture Pharmacy Services stands out as a leader in the pharmaceutical compounding industry because of its commitment to innovation, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. The company’s extensive facility and operational capacity enable it to serve a wide range of clients with customized pharmaceutical admixtures prepared under stringent quality and safety standards. Part of the broader B. Braun Group, an international healthcare company, CAPS benefits from a global network of resources, research, and continuous improvement methodologies such as the "Sharing Expertise®" initiative, which fosters best practices in healthcare products and services.
The Delivery Clerk position at CAPS offers an exciting career opportunity for individuals interested in supporting pharmaceutical operations within a dynamic and safety-focused environment. This is a full-time, onsite role located in Santa Fe Springs, California, where the candidate will work primarily weekdays with some rotating weekend shifts on a 5x8 schedule from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM or 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM. The hourly pay range for this role is $18.54 to $23.10, which reflects various factors including skill set, experience, training, certifications, and organizational needs.
As a Delivery Clerk, you will be responsible for the timely packing and delivery of pharmaceutical products, ensuring that scheduled delivery times are met to maintain excellence in customer service. Your role will also include supporting warehouse operations such as material receiving, stocking, and shipping as well as assisting with general maintenance and cleanliness of the pharmacy workspace and warehouse areas. The role involves handling warehouse equipment including pallet jacks and forklifts and requires adherence to all safety and quality practices.
This position demands physical capabilities including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, perform extended driving periods, and work in both indoor and outdoor settings. The work environment is typically clean, well-lit, and the noise level is moderate. The Delivery Clerk plays a key role in supporting the pharmacy’s workflow by facilitating prompt delivery and by taking part in clean room product introduction activities and product disposal when needed.
Candidates for this role should have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license or commercial license and maintain a clean driving record. The ideal Delivery Clerk also demonstrates strong interpersonal skills to interface effectively with customers and vendors, basic computer capability to handle routine tasks, and a willingness to contribute to ongoing training activities. Experience in a warehouse environment or similar logistics role will be advantageous but not mandatory.
At CAPS and B. Braun, employees enjoy a supportive work environment along with competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that includes healthcare, a 401(k) plan, and tuition reimbursement. The company is an equal opportunity employer, committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all employment practices. Joining CAPS means becoming part of a respected leader in healthcare pharmacy services, where you can build a meaningful career while helping improve patient outcomes through reliable pharmaceutical deliveries and services.
