Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in customer service or pharmacy environment preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • ability to maintain professionalism and courtesy under pressure
  • basic computer skills
  • ability to attend to details and maintain organized workspace
  • compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
  • flexibility to complete assigned training modules
  • ability to cope with mental and emotional stress and maintain regular attendance

Job Qualifications

  • experience in customer service or pharmacy settings preferred
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to handle sensitive and confidential information

  • commitment to ethical business conduct and compliance

Job Duties

  • Warmly greet customers upon arrival in a professional and courteous manner
  • maintain order and efficiency in lobby area
  • facilitate communication between patients and back-end pharmacy staff
  • provide direction and assistance for patients in need of Callen Lorde health services beyond the pharmacy
  • work with patients to improve understanding of pharmacy communication systems such as pharmacy app and text notifications
  • assist with maintaining over-the-counter inventory
  • offer a warm thank you for your business to exiting customers
  • promptly report any allegations of impropriety to the Compliance Department
  • comply with Maxor's Ethical Business Conduct policy and Compliance Program
  • remain free from exclusion under the Office of the Inspector General and SAMS Medicare/Medicaid lists
  • complete required training within established timeframes
  • cope with mental and emotional stress of the position
  • maintain regular attendance in accordance with established policies
  • perform other job-related duties as assigned
