This role is for a Customer Service Associate at Walgreens, a position pivotal to the store's mission to deliver an exceptional and delightful customer experience. As a Customer Service Associate, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers visiting the store. Your main responsibility will be registering sales on the assigned cash register while providing customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service. Beyond transactional interactions, you are expected to engage customers proactively, offering assistance with products and services to foster positive shopping experiences. In addition to sales duties, you will assist with over-the-counter (OTC) products, guide customers to items within the store and handle pharmacy system operations to check patient prescription statuses. Reporting prescription errors to the pharmacist and following the store's quality and safety protocols ensure compliance and safety. You will also maintain clean and well-merchandised counters and shelves and take part in inventory and pricing activities as directed by store leadership.

The Customer Service Associate also plays a key role in asset protection by following company procedures to minimize profit loss and ensuring compliance with laws regulating products such as alcohol and tobacco. This position involves constructing and maintaining promotional and seasonal displays and keeping both the store's interior and exterior neat and orderly, contributing to an inviting shopping environment.
