Job Requirements

  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
  • preferred six months of retail experience
  • prior work experience with Walgreens preferred
  • capable of resolving customer issues effectively
  • able to operate cash register and pharmacy systems
  • comply with company policies and state regulations
  • maintain clean and organized store environment
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience
  • register sales on assigned cash register and provide courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
  • engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services
  • resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience
  • develop strong relationships with most valuable customers
  • process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges
  • recommend items for sale and trade-up or companion items
  • assist with over-the-counter products and take customers to aisles
  • operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient prescription status and report errors to pharmacist
  • keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised
  • take inventory and maintain records
  • check in and price merchandise
  • implement asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss
  • ensure compliance with laws regarding regulated products
  • construct and maintain displays including promotional and seasonal merchandise
  • complete resets and revisions
  • assist with store maintenance to ensure clean and orderly condition
  • comply with company policies and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers
  • attend training and complete personal development assignments
