Job Requirements
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekend hours
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to handle cash and operate a cash register accurately
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
- Must comply with company asset protection and safety guidelines
- Eligible to work in the United States

Job Duties
- Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience
- Register sales on assigned cash register and provide courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
- Engage customers by greeting and offering assistance with products and services
- Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience
- Share customer service best practices and Walgreens service traits with team members
- Develop strong relationships with most valuable customers
- Process transactions including sales, voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges
- Recommend items for sale and suggest trade-up or companion products
- Assist customers with OTC products and locate items on store shelves
- Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient prescription status and report errors
- Maintain clean and well-merchandised counters and shelves
- Conduct inventory and maintain records
- Check in and price merchandise as directed
- Implement asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss
- Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products
- Construct and maintain displays and complete resets and revisions
- Maintain store systems and equipment
- Assist with interior and exterior store maintenance
- Comply with all company policies and maintain respectful coworker relationships
- Complete special assignments and training as assigned
