Job Duties

  • Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience
  • register sales on assigned cash register and provide courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
  • engage customers by greeting and offering assistance with products and services
  • resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure positive customer experience
  • process transactions including voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges
  • recommend items for sale and trade-up or companion products
  • assist customers with OTC products and guide them to aisles
  • operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient prescription status and report errors to pharmacist promptly
  • maintain clean and well-merchandised counters and shelves
  • check in and price merchandise as directed
  • implement company asset protection procedures
  • ensure compliance with laws regarding regulated products
  • construct and maintain displays, including promotional and seasonal setups
  • assist with store maintenance to ensure a neat and orderly appearance
  • comply with all company policies and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers
  • complete training as assigned and participate in personal development activities
