Job Duties
- Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience
- register sales on assigned cash register and provide courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
- engage customers by greeting and offering assistance with products and services
- resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience
- model and share customer service best practices with team members
- develop strong relationships with most valuable customers
- process transactions including voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges
- recommend items for sale and companion products
- assist with over-the-counter products and direct customers to aisles
- operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient prescription status and report errors
- keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised
- take inventory and maintain records
- check in and price merchandise as directed
- implement company asset protection procedures
- ensure compliance with state and local laws on regulated products
- construct and maintain promotional, seasonal, and sale displays
- complete resets and revisions
- assist with store maintenance by ensuring clean and orderly conditions
