Job Duties
- Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience
- registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
- engages customers and offers assistance with products and services
- resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive customer experience
- develops strong relationships with valuable customers
- registers customer purchases, collects cash, and processes voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed
- recommends items for sale and trade-up or companion items
- assists with OTC products and guides customers to aisles when possible
- operates pharmacy systems to check prescription status and reports errors promptly
- keeps counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, takes inventory, and maintains records
- checks in and prices merchandise
- implements asset protection procedures
- ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products
- constructs and maintains displays including promotional and seasonal merchandise
- completes resets and revisions as directed
- assists with store cleanliness and appearance
