Renowned for its internationally recognized centers of excellence in cancer, cardiovascular care, orthopedics and sports medicine, and neurosciences, Baptist Health upholds a faith-based mission of medical excellence supported by philanthropy. With a consistent record of being named one of Fortune's 100 Best Companies to Work For over the past 26 years, and recognized as the most awarded healthcare system in South Florida in the 2025-2026 U.S. News & World Report Best Hospital Rankings, Baptist Health demonstrates an unwavering commitment to both quality care and workplace excellence.

What truly distinguishes Baptist Health is its people. The organization fosters personal connections among colleagues that extend beyond the workplace and forms meaningful relationships with patients and their families that go beyond delivering care. Many employees have personal experiences similar to their patients, fueling a passionate commitment to compassion and high-quality service. The work culture is purpose-driven, with every team member playing a vital role in making a positive impact on the community. Baptist Health prides itself on an inclusive environment where everyone is valued and empowered.

The role being offered is centered around providing patient-centered customer service to both internal and external clients. As a point of contact to patients, providers, and pharmacies, this position involves answering inbound calls and coordinating the delivery and fills of patients' medications. Serving as a liaison between different departments within the pharmacy and patients, the role requires collecting key patient information that is essential for clinical staff to deliver safe and effective care. The position is vital in ensuring smooth communication and operational efficiency between patients and the pharmacy, contributing directly to positive health outcomes.

This role requires a well-rounded individual who can thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficient computer and data entry abilities, and the capability to multi-task effectively. The successful candidate will be comfortable handling numerous simultaneous responsibilities while maintaining a strong focus on patient service. A background or certification related to pharmacy or medical terminology is preferred, along with experience in customer service and call center environments.

Baptist Health is committed to supporting its employees at every stage of their career and personal journey, emphasizing a "grow our own" philosophy that enables team members to build meaningful, long-term careers with comprehensive support and development opportunities. Employees benefit from clear pathways for career growth, extensive health and wellness resources, and tuition reimbursement programs to foster ongoing education and advancement.
