The Pharmacist role at Memorial Medical Center is a full-time day shift position with rotating weekend schedules, designed to integrate the Pharmacist within the interdisciplinary healthcare team closely. Additionally, the Pharmacist will document interventions and outcomes for continuous improvement in drug therapy quality. Maintaining accuracy and completeness in medication order evaluations prior to order entry and after medication dispensing by technicians is crucial to this role, along with managing controlled substances in strict compliance with legal standards. The Pharmacist needs to stay proficient with pharmacy automated systems and software, supporting efficient and error-free pharmaceutical care.
Memorial Medical Center values its Pharmacists and supports their professional and personal well-being by offering comprehensive benefits including multiple levels of medical, dental, and vision coverage for both full-time and part-time employees. Additionally, the organization promotes career growth and educational advancement by providing tuition assistance for higher education and certification, loan assistance, and a 401(k) retirement package with company matching.
