Job Requirements

  • Manual dexterity to chop, mix, blend, and whip foods and liquids
  • ability to lift and carry pans weighing up to 50 lbs
  • ability to handle and operate kitchen equipment safely
  • standing and walking for entire shift duration
  • capability to reach, twist, bend, squat, push, and pull as necessary
  • tolerance for moderate-to-high noise levels and hot, damp kitchen environments

Job Qualifications

  • At least 6 months previous experience in back-of-the-house foodservice position required
  • ability to read and comprehend prep sheets and recipes
  • basic math skills to understand and follow recipe measurements and proportions
  • availability leading up to and during the PGA Championships event

Job Duties

  • Prepare food to specifications before and during the event
  • properly measure and portion all food items following quality standards and department policies
  • utilize kitchen equipment such as knives, slicers, whips, pots, pans, warmers, steamers, grills, ovens
  • ensure proper food temperatures and correct storage for freshness and quality
  • keep workstation, coolers, and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and stocked
  • follow and uphold all health codes and sanitation regulations
  • use waste control guidelines and record all waste
  • complete end of day inventory and other opening and closing duties
  • perform other duties as assigned
