Job Requirements

  • Manual dexterity sufficient to chop, mix, blend, whip various foods and liquids
  • Ability to lift and carry pans weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to safely handle and operate all kitchen equipment
  • Standing and walking for the entire length of the shift
  • Frequently reaching up to 6-7 feet, twisting at waist, bending and squatting
  • Occasionally pushing and pulling to move equipment, mops, and brooms
  • Ability to work in a hot and damp kitchen environment with moderate-to-high noise levels

Job Qualifications

  • At least six months previous experience in back-of-the-house foodservice position
  • Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets and recipes
  • Basic math skills to understand, calculate and follow recipe measurements and proportions
  • Available leading up to and during the PGA Championships event

Job Duties

  • Cook food items according to recipes and food production standards
  • Ensure food is safely prepared and at the proper temperature for consumption
  • Keep cooking station clean and orderly during shift
  • Comply with all sanitation and safety standards to ensure a safe work environment
  • Safely use and operate cooking appliances and utensils
  • Provide friendly and helpful customer service for guests as needed
  • Assist in ordering and receiving food products for the kitchen as needed
