The Pfister is currently seeking to expand its team with the addition of a dedicated Pfister Café Barista. Alongside beverage preparation, you will operate the cash register efficiently and accurately to ensure smooth guest transactions.

As a Pfister Café Barista, you will play an essential role in maintaining the café’s welcoming and polished atmosphere. This includes ensuring cleanliness and organization of the café work areas, equipment, and service stations. You will be asked to follow strict standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating, and storing products to provide both integrity in service and excellence in product availability. Responsiveness to guest satisfaction and the ability to address any concerns tactfully and professionally will be key to elevating the customer experience and sustaining The Pfister’s high standards.

The position also requires good multitasking skills, with the ability to work proficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and focus. It requires flexibility in availability including working weekends and holidays, in line with union regulations overseen by Local 122 Collective Bargaining Agreement, along with the option to obtain union membership after 90 days of employment. Physical stamina is also important as the role involves standing for long periods and working in confined spaces.
