This position is a part-time opportunity to join a passionate team dedicated to improving the lives of pets in the community. As a pet care professional, you will be responsible for direct animal care services including dog walking, feeding, administering medication, and waste management. This role is active and requires physical capability as it involves walking dogs for a minimum of thirty minutes per session and working outdoors in various weather conditions. The part-time nature of the role is designed to supplement income, making it ideal for individuals who may have other professional commitments but want to contribute positively to the welfare of pets. Staff members enjoy a flexible schedule with opportunities for additional hours in evenings and weekends, as well as summer availability. Compensation ranges from $15 to $18 per hour, with payment provided per visit starting at $10. Performance is regularly reviewed after 90 days which may result in compensation increases.
