Job Description

Dogtopia is the leading dog daycare company in the industry, renowned for providing a safe, clean, and educational environment for dogs and their pet parents. Established to create better canine citizens, Dogtopia's approach centers on S.E.E.ing each dog: Socializing, Exercising, and Educating, which helps keep dogs happily settled in their forever homes and out of shelters. The company is deeply committed to enhancing the joy of dog parenthood by offering exceptional daycare services that prioritize health and safety at all times. At Dogtopia, the culture is fun and fast-paced, emphasizing teamwork and making every day the Most Exciting Day Ever for both dogs and the team members who care for them.

Dogtopia of Meridian North exemplifies the company’s commitment beyond profit through its Dogtopia Foundation. This foundation supports meaningful causes such as sponsoring service dogs for veterans, youth literacy programs, and employment initiatives for adults with autism. The foundation frequently hosts engaging fundraising events like photo booth days, special treats, and creative dog arts and crafts, demonstrating the company’s dedication to its community and its furry guests. To date, Dogtopia of Meridian North has sponsored multiple service dogs and continues to expand its efforts.

The role of Pet Parent Concierge at Dogtopia is a dynamic and rewarding customer service position ideal for those who love dogs and enjoy interacting with pet parents. As the first point of contact, Pet Parent Concierges play a vital role in providing excellent customer service, managing the front desk operations, and ensuring each pet parent feels welcomed and informed. This part-time or full-time position offers flexible scheduling, competitive base pay, and a generous onboarding bonus program that rewards team members with $250 after successful completion of 90 days and an additional $500 after six months.

Pet Parent Concierges answer phones and emails, greet pet parents as they arrive, educate them about Dogtopia's services and requirements, schedule daycare services and meet-and-greet appointments, and assist with checking dogs in and out. They escort dogs safely to and from their pet parents and give tours around the facility, showcasing the care and quality that makes Dogtopia unique. Maintaining an organized and clean environment is also a key aspect of the role, contributing to the overall positive experience for both dogs and their owners.

Dogtopia encourages a positive team culture grounded in inclusivity and transparency, where hands-on managers work alongside team members to foster personal and professional growth. Employees have access to paid Dogtopia Connect online training, including industry certifications eligible for continuing education credits. Numerous benefits enhance the work experience, such as the ability to bring your dog to work, team support and referral bonuses, birthday bonuses, holiday pay, access to mental health tools, medical insurance for full-time staff, and opportunities for cross-training and career advancement within the dog care industry.

In summary, the Pet Parent Concierge role at Dogtopia is perfect for individuals passionate about dogs, experienced or eager to learn customer service and sales, and interested in working in a lively, supportive environment that values love, loyalty, safety, play, and making every day memorable. Join Dogtopia’s team to be part of a company that not only loves dogs but also empowers them to change the world positively.
