The company emphasizes a culture of respect, integrity, and continuous improvement, striving to create a workplace where associates feel supported and empowered to grow in their careers. With a strong commitment to safety, ethical practices, and sustainability, Sam's Club is recognized as a reputable employer offering competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
The Membership Development role at Sam's Club is designed to enhance the member experience by providing detailed information on membership benefits, promoting the value of company products and services, processing membership upgrades and credit accounts, and participating in marketing and sales events. The position requires a proactive approach to meeting membership goals and ensuring that members receive exceptional service. Additionally, the role includes fulfillment responsibilities such as managing Member Fax n Pull and Click n Pull orders by reviewing and accurately processing orders, pulling items from shelves, scanning and palletizing merchandise, and securing items until members arrive. Members’ satisfaction is a priority, with follow-up on out-of-stock items to meet their needs promptly.
Effective communication and collaboration with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners are essential to fulfilling work priorities. The role requires adaptability, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality and member satisfaction. Providing exemplary member service by recognizing member needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, resolving concerns, and promoting company offerings is a core responsibility.
Sam's Club emphasizes core values such as respecting individuals, acting with integrity, serving customers with excellence, and continuously striving for improvement. Associates are expected to foster a positive and inclusive work environment, build strong relationships, model ethical behavior, and support the company’s mission of making a positive impact on associates, members, and the community.
This position offers competitive hourly wages ranging from $17.00 to $25.00, along with performance-based bonus opportunities. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage (medical, vision, dental), financial benefits like 401(k) plans and stock purchase options, paid time off such as parental and family care leave, and additional perks including short-term and long-term disability, company discounts, and military leave pay.
