The role of Personal Shopper at MR PORTER is key to the company’s mission of delivering exceptional customer experience. Based at the New York City office and reporting to the Personal Shopping Manager, this position focuses on developing and enhancing customer loyalty and sales among the company’s elite clientele, known as E.I.P customers. Utilizing strong customer service and commercial skills, the Personal Shopper must build lasting, meaningful relationships that drive customer satisfaction and increase spending.
This hybrid role demands a proactive and strategic approach to managing high-value clients, understanding their fashion preferences, and adapting to their lifestyle needs. The successful candidate will use available technologies to meet sales targets, prioritize leads, and maximize client acquisition and retention opportunities. The role also involves close collaboration with the wider personal shopping team and customer care units to ensure seamless service delivery.

Job Requirements
- 5 years of experience as a senior sales assistant or personal shopper for a luxury retail brand is preferred
- proven track record of achieving personal sales goals
- motivated to drive sales, acquire new customers and improve customer experience
- knowledge and interest in current menswear fashion trends
- ability to work hard as part of a growing team
- eye for detail and good organizational skills
- excellent communication skills
- native English or European language proficiency with strong written skills
- numerate with computer literacy in excel and outlook
- confidence to contribute innovative ideas to work processes
