The role of the Personal Concierge at Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills is an integral one, positioned within the Front Office Team. This full-time position requires exceptional hospitality skills and a genuine passion for creating personalized, memorable guest experiences. The Personal Concierge administers and supervises all True Waldorf Service (TWS) arrivals, ensuring that every guest encounter is characterized by utmost courtesy, professionalism, and a distinct sense of attentiveness. Acting as the first impression of the hotel, the Personal Concierge reaches out to guests prior to their arrival to understand and prepare for their specific needs, creating an environment that truly feels like "we’ve been expecting you." This proactive approach distinguishes Waldorf Astoria’s service and elevates the stay of every guest.
Among the varied responsibilities, the Personal Concierge welcomes guests with warmth, assists with check-in procedures, handles concierge services, and provides luggage and door assistance. They also offer unpacking services and welcome beverages, all aimed at delivering a seamless and luxurious guest experience. Beyond these tasks, the Personal Concierge is expected to exude the highest level of service professionalism by combining their instinctive hospitality skills with expert knowledge of the hotel’s amenities and the local area. Compensation for this role starts at $30.12 per hour, with an increase to 90% of this rate after nine months, as outlined by the collective bargaining agreement. The position is part of the Local 11 Union, which necessitates open availability without the ability to accommodate schedule restrictions. Hours and schedules are influenced by seniority and business needs, which may result in varied weekly hours until seniority is attained. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Availability to work various shifts including overnights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service with professionalism and courtesy

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Provide guests with a stay experience customized to their needs while creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Meet and greet all True Waldorf Service (TWS) guests upon arrival
- Handle guest check-in, concierge services, luggage assistance, door assistance, unpacking service, and welcome beverage
- Deliver a warm welcome by greeting guests and completing the check-in process including verifying details and issuing room keys
- Support efficient check-out by processing guest departures, verifying charges, handling payments, and issuing receipts
- Provide comprehensive knowledge of hotel offerings, room types, rates, promotions, and local area information to assist guest inquiries
- Promote hotel services using up-selling techniques to recommend amenities and maximize revenue
- Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve concerns with care and urgency
