Job Requirements
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally on short notice
- flexible schedule to accommodate evenings, weekends, and holidays
- valid driver’s license and passport or ability to obtain promptly
- capacity to pass background and reference checks
Job Qualifications
- Culinary degree from an accredited institution or comparable professional experience preferred
- food safety certification (ServSafe or equivalent) preferred
- minimum of 5+ years of experience as a private chef for high-net-worth individuals or families
- experience in multi-residence households, yachts, or luxury hospitality environments preferred
- proven track record with international travel in a private service role
- advanced culinary skills across various cuisines, including baking and pastry
- in-depth understanding of nutrition, dietary planning, and specialty diets
- exceptional attention to detail in food quality and presentation
- strong organizational and time-management capabilities
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- high level of discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality
Job Duties
- Design, prepare, and present high-quality meals tailored to client preferences and dietary requirements
- create diverse, seasonal, and nutritionally balanced menus
- accommodate specific dietary needs and restrictions for client, guests, and staff
- execute both formal and informal dining services with attention to plating, timing, and presentation standards
- provide on-demand meal service with the ability to adjust schedules and menus
- travel with the client domestically and internationally on short notice
- oversee kitchen setup, provisioning, and operations in multiple locations
- adjust to diverse kitchen facilities, cultural cuisines, and sourcing challenges
- plan and execute private dinners, small gatherings, and larger in-home events
- collaborate with estate staff and external vendors to create seamless event experiences
- anticipate guest needs and provide personalized, discreet service experience
