The role of a US Foods Delivery Driver is a critical position within the organization that directly impacts the company's ability to provide timely and efficient food delivery services. This is a full-time role with a competitive pay rate of approximately $28.90 per hour, along with eligibility for overtime compensation. Drivers work a four-day schedule from Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with Wednesdays off. The typical start time is early in the morning, between 3 to 6 AM, and the workday concludes once all deliveries are completed. This schedule supports work-life balance while maintaining operational efficiency.
Delivery Drivers at US Foods are responsible for safely operating trucks to deliver food products to customers on schedule. They must carefully unload products using equipment such as two-wheelers or pallet jacks, place items in designated storage areas, and verify delivery accuracy with customers by obtaining proper signatures. Customer service is integral to the role, requiring drivers to professionally address client needs and handle collections or payments when applicable. Job Requirements
- register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse
- must be at least 21 years of age
- must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
- minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry
- ability to operate manual transmission preferred
- must be able to read and communicate in the English language

Job Duties
- safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled customer delivery times
- carefully unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designated customer storage areas
- verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures
- handle collections and payments from customers when applicable
- professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience
- perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspection
