The Perioperative Cardiothoracic-Vascular Procedures Service Line Coordinator role is based within a specialized surgical service line dedicated to cardiothoracic and vascular procedures. The position might involve coordination of the daily surgical schedule, functioning in a leadership capacity such as a charge nurse when required. Flexibility is expected as the coordinator may be assigned to other procedural service lines depending on surgical case volumes. This role demands a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor’s degree, with strong perioperative nursing skills and the ability to lead and collaborate effectively within a dynamic surgical environment. The candidate must hold active licensure in the state of Florida and maintain certifications such as BLS and Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) within stipulated timelines. Experience in operating room practice is essential, with 1-2 years preferred.
