This extensive network is bolstered by advanced technology, including a shared electronic medical records (EMR) system, ensuring seamless coordination of patient care among providers. Backed by the capabilities of one of the state’s most sophisticated full-spectrum hospitals—Providence Regional Medical Center Everett—this organization delivers wide-ranging healthcare services tailored to meet the diverse needs of its community. Known for its commitment to quality and compassionate care, Providence Medical Group thrives on integrating clinical excellence with innovative solutions to promote optimal patient outcomes. Their mission emphasizes a holistic, patient-centered approach that prioritizes accessibility and comprehensive treatment across all spectrums of health and social services.
The current opportunity available is for a Per Diem Psychiatrist to join Providence Medical Group’s behavioral health team located in Everett, Washington. This role is pivotal in supporting inpatient psychiatry consult services and is integral to the Behavioral Health Urgent Care and the 24-bed inpatient psychiatric unit. Additionally, there may be occasional opportunities to engage in ambulatory care services within the group. This position offers a flexible per diem employment structure, which is ideal for psychiatrists seeking a work-life balance. The compensation rate is competitive, set at $183 per hour, potentially inclusive of productivity or quality/service incentives, with added benefits such as call pay and extra shift incentives if applicable. Moreover, providers may avail themselves of Continuing Medical Education (CME) benefits, enriching their professional development.
In this role, the psychiatrist will actively contribute to a multidisciplinary team, addressing complex psychiatric conditions and delivering urgent behavioral health interventions. The position includes weekend inpatient consult shifts, which enhances flexibility for providers who may prefer varied work schedules. Working within Providence Medical Group ensures easy access to system-wide support and resources, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes professional growth and clinical excellence.
