We are seeking a Per Diem PET/CT Technologist to join our dynamic team. This role is designed for professionals adept in conducting PET/CT diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, diagnostic CT exams, and administering radiopharmaceuticals and contrast media. The technologist will be tasked with following established policies and procedures set forth by the Kelsey-Seybold Clinic’s Nuclear Medicine and Radiology Departments. In addition to PET/CT, the technologist may perform general nuclear medicine imaging including Nuclear Cardiology, dynamic flow studies, and SPECT studies. Emphasis on safety, quality control, and compliance with radiation safety protocols are fundamental to this role.

The Per Diem PET/CT Technologist will utilize advanced digital tools such as Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Radiology Information Systems (RIS), and Patient Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) to ensure accurate patient exam documentation and efficient image storage. This position is critical for maintaining the high standards of imaging quality and operational safety for the clinic. The role is ideal for a technologist who understands the nuances of patient communication, especially regarding age-related needs, and can deliver care that is both technically proficient and compassionate.

The compensation for this position ranges from $28.94 to $51.63 per hour based on qualifications and experience within a full-time employment framework.
