Job Duties

  • Oversees proper scheduling including timeliness of evaluations and follow-ups, consistency of care and accuracy of appointments
  • Answers phones in a friendly and courteous manner, records and distributes messages, assists in timely response to messages
  • Manages voicemails and responds to phone calls received in a timely manner
  • Receives and directs visitors to their appropriate area
  • Offers assistance and provides direction to visitors, patients, physicians, and families in a concise, informative manner, keeping a courteous and positive tone
  • Maintains adequate inventory of stationary and other clerical stock
  • Fax, copy and mailing as requested
  • Maintains professional appearance and adheres to department and hospital dress code
  • Assists in additional functions and duties as necessary
