Hotel Drover is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated People + Culture Coordinator to join their vibrant team. This role is central to preserving and enhancing the hotel's mission, values, and vibrant workplace culture. Responsibilities include managing recruitment and onboarding processes, maintaining personnel records with discretion and care, supporting department supervisors, and assisting with a variety of human resource functions that foster community and collaboration. Job Requirements
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- 6 months to 1 year of human resources experience
- demonstrated interpersonal skills working with diverse people and levels of authority
- ability to multi-task in HR operations and data entry
- knowledge and experience with computers and Microsoft programs

Job Duties
- Maintain confidentiality and security of relevant information
- discuss team member needs with department supervisors
- provide information on company facilities and job opportunities to potential applicants
- pre-screen applicants to obtain required information during recruitment process
- screen and refer qualified applicants to the department hiring manager for follow up interview
- administer the background process, refer applicants to drug screen, and maintain the logbook of results
- prepare onboarding process for all new team members in accordance to state and federal laws
- maintain departmental filing system and record systems
- input all Personnel Action Forms including hires, transfers, terminations, wage adjustments, and other personnel changes
- run reports as needed
- assist People + Culture leadership in researching and preparing sensitive investigative information
- maintain awareness of applicable laws and operate within those guidelines
- perform all other duties as assigned
