Job Description

The Vineta Hotel is an iconic establishment located in the heart of Palm Beach, Florida. This hotel carries a rich history dating back over 100 years, originally opening in 1926 and epitomizing Mediterranean Revival architecture that is a hallmark of the region. Recently, The Vineta Hotel has undergone a comprehensive restoration, bringing it back to its original grandeur while incorporating modern comforts and stylish decor. Situated just two blocks from the famous Worth Avenue, a premier shopping and dining destination, the hotel is poised to become a central hub for visitors seeking elegance, culture, and exceptional hospitality. The Vineta is recognized as the first hotel in the United States to join the prestigious Oetker Hotels portfolio, which is renowned internationally for its luxury properties and exceptional service standards.

The hotel offers an unparalleled blend of sophisticated ambiance and contemporary luxury, complemented by a world-class culinary experience and superior guest services. This reimagined property is designed to be the pinnacle of hospitality in Palm Beach, catering to discerning travelers who value personalized attention, refined aesthetics, and a vibrant social scene. Beyond its physical offerings, The Vineta Hotel embodies a cultural ethos that celebrates the artistic and social life of the Palm Beach community, making it not just a place to stay but an experience to be cherished.

In this inspiring setting, The Vineta Hotel is seeking a People & Culture Coordinator to join its dynamic team. This full-time role is integral to supporting the People and Culture department within the hotel, which operates as part of the ultra-luxury U.S. property under the Oetker Hotels Masterpiece Collection. The coordinator will be deeply involved in the entire employee lifecycle, gaining valuable experience in recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and administrative operations. The position plays a pivotal role in fostering a workplace culture grounded in kindness, respect, and service excellence—core values that define the Oetker Hotels brand.

The People & Culture Coordinator contributes to a range of human resource initiatives, including supporting recruitment processes by posting job vacancies, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and ensuring a seamless and warm candidate experience reflective of Oetker’s prestigious reputation. Additionally, the role involves handling internal communications and supporting programs aligned with company policies, as well as assisting with internship programs, career fairs, and strategic partnerships with educational institutions.

A key duty of the position is to enhance the onboarding and orientation experiences for new hires, helping to create memorable first impressions that embody the hotel’s commitment to excellence. The coordinator also responds to employee inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality, manages employee records meticulously, and ensures compliance with labor laws and company standards. Moreover, the role involves supporting hotelier engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and internal events designed to foster a family-like spirit and a workplace culture rooted in elegance and genuine kindness.

The ideal candidate for the People & Culture Coordinator position at The Vineta Hotel will have at least one year of experience in HR administration or coordination, preferably within hospitality or luxury resort environments. Candidates should be pursuing a degree related to Human Resources, Hospitality Management, or Business Administration, and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a professional demeanor, and a high level of integrity. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational capabilities are essential to successfully support the department’s operations.

This position offers a competitive salary and an excellent benefits package, including employer-paid health benefits, a 401(k) matching program, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development within the Oetker Hotels group. The Vineta Hotel is an Equal Opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion, encouraging individuals from all backgrounds to apply. This role presents a unique opportunity to be part of a world-class hospitality team in an exclusive and historic setting, contributing to the legacy of one of Palm Beach’s most distinguished landmarks.
