This job opportunity is with a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee and not McDonald's USA. While the franchisee uses McDonald's logos and food products, it operates as a separate business entity. This means that the franchisee is solely responsible for all employment decisions, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling of employees. McDonald's USA has no influence over these matters and does not receive any application information or participate in employment decisions. Potential candidates should be aware that their employment relationship will be directly with the independent franchisee.

The role being offered is that of a Shift Manager, a pivotal leadership position within the franchise-operated McDonald's restaurant. Shift Managers are integral to ensuring that every customer enjoys a fast, accurate, and friendly service experience. They provide crucial leadership during their shifts by overseeing crew members and other managers, upholding McDonald's high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Lead shifts every week to ensure fast, accurate, friendly customer service
  • Provide leadership to crew and other managers during shifts
  • Plan for each shift and monitor performance
  • Take action to ensure team meets McDonald's standards
  • Monitor safety, security, and profitability
  • Communicate with next Shift Manager for smooth shift transition
  • Manage food safety and internal communication
  • Handle inventory management and daily maintenance
  • Oversee managing crew, quality food production, and exceptional customer service
  • Handle scheduling and training of staff
