Delaware North Sportservice is a reputable hospitality and food service company known for its exceptional operations within sports venues, premium dining, and restaurants. Established as a family-owned and operated company with over 100 years of history, Delaware North has built a global legacy through its dedication to providing excellent experiences for both guests and team members. The company operates at a number of iconic locations around the world, including national parks, casinos, sports arenas, and more. One of its notable ventures is at Truist Park in Atlanta, Georgia, home of Major League Baseball's Atlanta Braves, where Delaware North has managed concessions and premium services since the stadium opened in 2016. This environment offers a vibrant and dynamic workplace where team members thrive amid the excitement of major league sports and premium hospitality services.
The role of a Pen Lounge Bar Supervisor at Delaware North Sportservice is a seasonal position based at The Pen Lounge at Truist Park, an exclusive premium club located in the right field above the bullpen. This role offers individuals a unique opportunity to work in a high-energy, guest-focused environment during the baseball season, which typically runs from March to October, including potential playoff events. The Pen Lounge Bar Supervisor is responsible for managing daily bar operations under the guidance of the department manager. This includes supervising and training team members to deliver unparalleled service and maintain the high standards expected within this premium setting. Supervisors will oversee inventory, cost control, and scheduling while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations as well as company policies, including responsible alcohol service. The role demands a proactive supervisor who can handle multiple priorities efficiently, support team development, and contribute positively to the guest experience at every event.
This position pays between $18.00 and $20.00 per hour and offers a comprehensive benefits package tailored to support employees' personal and professional well-being. Team members can expect weekly pay, development opportunities, employee discounts, and flexible scheduling. Furthermore, eligible employees can access health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plans with company match, paid vacation and holidays, parental leave, assistance programs, and tuition reimbursement. This valuable combination of compensation and benefits, coupled with the vibrant atmosphere of Truist Park, makes the Pen Lounge Bar Supervisor role both rewarding and career-enhancing, especially for hospitality professionals looking to advance their skills in a fast-paced sports entertainment setting. The position requires a minimum of five years of bartending experience, strong knowledge of food and beverage, cost control acumen, and the ability to thrive during busy events including nights, weekends, and holidays. This opportunity invites individuals who love the game day energy and aspire to grow within a respected global hospitality company to apply and become a part of Delaware North's expanding legacy.
