Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 6 months shift lead experience for external candidates
  • Minimum 4 months Pei Wei experience for internal candidates
  • Ability to work standing and walking for 4 to 10 hours per shift
  • Ability to lift and transport objects up to 30 lbs repeatedly
  • Ability to hear with 100% accuracy with correction
  • Ability to see at 20/20 vision with correction
  • Strong commitment to brand and team
  • Action oriented and customer focused
  • Self motivated and able to maintain high performance without leadership present

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Certified in culinary and front-of-house operations
  • Certified food handler
  • Effective communication skills
  • Leadership and team management experience
  • Experience in guest relations and coaching
  • Ability to handle cash and administrative tasks
  • Familiarity with restaurant safety and health standards

Job Duties

  • Perform and coach culinary and front-of-house operations daily
  • Teach and enforce company safety and health procedures as a certified food handler
  • Communicate effectively with team members, management, and regional supervisors
  • Act as a role model in behavior, dress, and guest interaction
  • Lead the team during shifts through coaching, delegation, and verification
  • Execute shift responsibilities including admin tasks, reporting, scheduling, cash handling, opening/closing duties, inventory, and ordering
  • Support employee onboarding and training processes
  • Handle cash according to company policy
  • Manage guest relations and coach team to improve experience
  • Escalate employee relations issues to general manager promptly
  • Attend all store manager meetings
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned
