Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 6 months shift lead experience for external candidates
- Minimum 4 months Pei Wei experience for internal candidates
- Ability to work standing and walking for 4 to 10 hours per shift
- Ability to lift and transport objects up to 30 lbs repeatedly
- Ability to hear with 100% accuracy with correction
- Ability to see at 20/20 vision with correction
- Strong commitment to brand and team
- Action oriented and customer focused
- Self motivated and able to maintain high performance without leadership present
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Certified in culinary and front-of-house operations
- Certified food handler
- Effective communication skills
- Leadership and team management experience
- Experience in guest relations and coaching
- Ability to handle cash and administrative tasks
- Familiarity with restaurant safety and health standards
Job Duties
- Perform and coach culinary and front-of-house operations daily
- Teach and enforce company safety and health procedures as a certified food handler
- Communicate effectively with team members, management, and regional supervisors
- Act as a role model in behavior, dress, and guest interaction
- Lead the team during shifts through coaching, delegation, and verification
- Execute shift responsibilities including admin tasks, reporting, scheduling, cash handling, opening/closing duties, inventory, and ordering
- Support employee onboarding and training processes
- Handle cash according to company policy
- Manage guest relations and coach team to improve experience
- Escalate employee relations issues to general manager promptly
- Attend all store manager meetings
- Execute additional tasks as assigned
