Job Requirements
- Must possess a current Food Handler's Card where applicable
- ability to stand and walk for four to ten hours each shift
- ability to reach, bend, balance, and transport objects weighing up to 30 lbs repeatedly
- must be able to hear with 100 percent accuracy with correction
- must be able to see at 20/20 vision with correction
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- previous prep or line cook experience
- knowledge of cooking and knife handling skills
- ability to prepare and present menu items with cook time requirements
- understanding of how to modify dishes due to guest requests such as allergies or gluten free
- reading, writing, and math skills
- ability to speak clearly and listen attentively
- understanding of English language
- ability to work in a team environment
- ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook all food menu items to company specifications
- stock pantry station fully before the shift
- setup, operate, breakdown, and clean all kitchen equipment
- use proper sanitation practices and safety procedures
- operate the POS system
- wash dishes, sweep/mop floors, clean and maintain equipment, sanitize utensils, and maintain all areas of the restaurant
- guide guests on choosing menu items and modify dishes according to guest needs
