Job Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent preferred
Previous experience as a cashier and operating a POS system
Understanding of English language
Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to customers, employees, and management
Basic math skills and computer proficiency
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Must have integrity, honesty and accountability in all dealings
Must be committed to quality service
Physical activities require considerable use of fingers, arms and legs
Must be able to stand and walk for periods of four to ten hours each shift
Must be able to reach, bend, balance and transport objects weighing up to 30 lbs repeatedly
Must be able to hear with 100 percent accuracy with correction
Must be able to see at 20/20 vision with correction

Job Qualifications

Previous experience as a cashier and operating a POS system

Job Duties

Accommodate guest needs by greeting them in a timely professional manner and providing information about the menu and restaurant procedures
Fulfill orders placed by guests for dining in or take away in person, by phone or online
Responsible for the overall setup, maintenance, and closing duties for the front of house in accordance with Pei Wei SOPs
Process phone orders in a timely manner
Take and process customer orders into POS system
Process and total orders on POS system and apply customer payment into register
Process credit cards, handle cash, and make correct change for customer payments
Greet and welcome customers entering the restaurant
Package take-home orders for customers
Tabulate data regarding bills, total amounts, and restaurant expenses in POS system
Maintain and clean front of house area including drink and condiment station
Follow dress code
Work around various temperature levels in the kitchen
