Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2 years general manager experience for external candidates
- 6 months Pei Wei senior or assistant manager experience for internal candidates
- Certified in Pei Wei Culinary and Front-of-the-House Operations
- Ability to obtain safe food handlers permit within 6 months
- Must be able to reach, bend, balance, and transport objects up to 30 lbs
- Must be able to stand and walk for 8 to 10 hours per shift
- Strong sales building skills
- Excellent conflict management abilities
- Demonstrated team-building capabilities
- Proven hiring and staffing experience

Job Duties
- Ensures operational excellence of his/her designated restaurant
- Takes ownership of guest relations and customer satisfaction outcomes
- Implements, cascades, and sustains company initiatives and goals
- Increases sales and operating profit through local marketing and internal opportunities
- Certified in Pei Wei Culinary and Front-of-the-House Operations and performs duties daily
- Fosters a safe, respectful, and quality employee experience
- Supervises, assigns, and delegates tasks appropriately to management and hourly team members
- Recruits, hires, and trains a full team according to internal training specifications
- Provides ongoing leadership and development to management staff
- Acts as a goodwill ambassador to the community
- Uses performance management tools to complete employee appraisals and deliver coaching
- Ensures compliance with state and federal safety and sanitation guidelines
- Oversees timely repairs and maintenance of the restaurant
