Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in medical receptionist or related administrative role
  • Comfortable using electronic medical records and practice management systems
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
  • Attention to detail in processing patient payments
  • Capable of working in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities
  • Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background check and drug screen
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience as a medical receptionist or similar role
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records systems
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Experience working in multiple provider medical practices preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and demonstrate professionalism

Job Duties

  • Greet and check-in patients efficiently and courteously
  • Schedule patient appointments using electronic practice management systems
  • Manage patient check-out processes including payment collection and verification
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information
  • Provide superior customer service to patients and address inquiries or concerns
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to facilitate smooth clinic operations
  • Assist in maintaining accurate patient records and updating electronic medical records systems
