Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in medical receptionist or related administrative role
- Comfortable using electronic medical records and practice management systems
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
- Attention to detail in processing patient payments
- Capable of working in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities
- Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Successful completion of pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience as a medical receptionist or similar role
- Proficiency with electronic medical records systems
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Experience working in multiple provider medical practices preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and demonstrate professionalism
Job Duties
- Greet and check-in patients efficiently and courteously
- Schedule patient appointments using electronic practice management systems
- Manage patient check-out processes including payment collection and verification
- Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information
- Provide superior customer service to patients and address inquiries or concerns
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to facilitate smooth clinic operations
- Assist in maintaining accurate patient records and updating electronic medical records systems
