Job Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • First Aid and CPR certifications or willingness to obtain before starting
  • Ability to provide in-person care
  • Availability for flexible part-time hours including weekends
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to document client progress and report incidents
  • Compassion and patience

Job Qualifications

  • A passion for working with children and young adults with developmental disabilities
  • First Aid and CPR certifications or willingness to obtain them
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work remotely with a reachable supervisor
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor
  • Reliable and punctual

Job Duties

  • Provide direct care and support tailored to the client's individual needs
  • Implement and follow individualized care plans to ensure safety
  • Assist with daily activities including personal care, meal preparation, and recreational activities
  • Document progress, behaviors, and incidents accurately and promptly
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and family members
  • Maintain a safe and nurturing environment
  • Participate in ongoing training and development
