Job Requirements
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with personal care and housekeeping
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes
- Ability to pass background checks and any required screenings
- Willingness to commit to part-time hours with flexible scheduling
- Basic literacy to document care activities
- Effective communication skills
- No prior experience required but a positive attitude and willingness to learn essential
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Certification as PCA, CHHA, or CNA is a plus but not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to flexible schedules
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Basic knowledge of healthcare and personal care procedures
Job Duties
- Provide personal care to clients including assistance with hygiene and daily activities
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as necessary
- Perform homemaker duties such as cleaning, laundry, and errands
- Communicate effectively with patients and family members to understand care needs
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies during in-home care
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in patient condition
- Participate in training and development opportunities as required
