Job Description
Aulani, A Disney Resort and Spa, is a premier vacation destination nestled in the picturesque landscape of Hawaii. As part of the globally renowned Disney brand, Aulani combines the magic and impeccable service standards that Disney is known for, with the rich culture and natural beauty of the Hawaiian Islands. Offering guests a unique blend of immersive Disney storytelling and authentic Hawaiian hospitality, the resort provides an exceptional experience with a wide variety of amenities including luxurious accommodations, multiple dining options, recreational activities, and world-class spa services. As a leader in the hospitality industry, Aulani prides itself on creating memorable moments for guests of all ages while fostering a diverse and inclusive environment for its cast members. The resort operates in a dynamic setting that embraces both local traditions and the high expectations of international travelers.
The role of Operator at Aulani is pivotal in providing the first line of communication between the guests and the resort, ensuring every visit starts with a warm and welcoming experience. Operators are responsible for answering phone inquiries, assisting guests with pre-arrival needs, and continuing to offer support during their stay to ensure all needs are met and expectations are exceeded. This position requires maintaining a pleasant and positive demeanor, effectively communicating with guests and cast members, and managing a variety of requests including dispatching guest calls and providing information about resort amenities. Operators must possess excellent listening skills and high attention to detail, with the ability to remain calm and efficient in high-pressure situations. As part of the diverse responsibilities, operators may also be cross-utilized in roles such as Front Desk and Arrival Staff Agent, or Concierge Agent, further enriching their exposure to different aspects of resort operations.
This full-time position requires availability to work seven days a week, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the continuous nature of hotel operations. The training period spans 7 to 8 weeks immediately following the start date and demands full availability during both day and evening hours. The role offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $35.84, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes 100 percent healthcare coverage for the employee and eligible dependents, tuition paid upfront at network schools, free lunch, free parking, free theme park admission, and many other perks. This opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality, eager to engage with guests from around the world, and ready to contribute to a legendary resort experience while developing their professional skills in a prestigious, culturally rich environment.
