The Patient Service Specialist at AVP is a highly visible and integral role, serving as the first point of contact for patients. This position is responsible for ensuring that patients receive an exceptional experience from the moment they arrive. The Patient Service Specialist gathers necessary information for patient visits, assists with check-in and check-out processes, schedules clinic and surgical appointments including pre-operative and post-operative visits, reviews and obtains consents for procedures, verifies insurance, collects payments, and maintains accurate patient medical records.
