The Patient Services Manager role at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center, a 310-bed facility located in Chesapeake, VA, is a pivotal position within Aramark Healthcare’s Food & Nutrition Department. This full-time role focuses on overseeing patient food service operations to ensure that patients receive nutritious meals that meet their dietary requirements and preferences while adhering to mandated healthcare nutritional standards. The individual in this position will be responsible for managing all aspects of patient feeding services including quality assurance, tray line operations, room service programs, and the diet office. Additionally, the manager will lead, develop, and motivate a team of patient service staff, ensuring meals are properly prepared and delivered on time.
The Patient Services Manager also plays a critical role in driving patient satisfaction by conducting rounds, managing the service ambassador program, and maintaining safety and sanitation standards. The position requires excellent communication skills to build effective client and customer relationships, identify needs, and ensure operational progress is clearly conveyed. The manager must comply with all organizational policies, health and safety regulations, as well as wage and hour laws. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with healthcare food service systems such as CBORD are preferred. Job Requirements
- Requires at least 1-2 year experience in a food service supervisor or management role
- bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- healthcare patient services management experience required

Job Duties
- Manages patient food service activities, complying with established standards
- leads patient service staff to ensure meals are properly prepared and delivered to patients
- conducts rounds on patients/departments

- records safety and sanitation compliance
- supervises tray line operation and/or the room service program
- maintains effective client and customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationships
