Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in food service supervision or management
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Prior experience in healthcare patient services management
  • Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a large workforce
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Knowledge or education in nutrition preferred
  • Familiarity with healthcare food service systems such as CBORD preferred

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1-2 year experience in a food service supervisor or management role
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Healthcare patient services management experience
  • Experience managing, motivating and engaging a large workforce
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service and organizational skills
  • Nutrition education and/or background preferred
  • Experience with CBORD or similar healthcare food service systems preferred

Job Duties

  • Manages patient food service activities complying with established standards
  • Leads patient service staff to ensure meals are properly prepared and delivered to patients
  • Conducts rounds on patients and departments
  • Oversees the diet office and the service ambassador program
  • Records safety and sanitation compliance
  • Supervises tray line operation and/or the room service program
  • Maintains effective client and customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationships
  • Identifies client needs and communicates operational progress
  • Demonstrates excellent customer service using Aramark's standard service model
  • Maintains a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers, and employees
  • Complies with all applicable policies, rules, and regulations including safety, health, and wage and hour
