Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in food service supervision or management
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Prior experience in healthcare patient services management
- Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a large workforce
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Knowledge or education in nutrition preferred
- Familiarity with healthcare food service systems such as CBORD preferred
Job Qualifications
- At least 1-2 year experience in a food service supervisor or management role
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Healthcare patient services management experience
- Experience managing, motivating and engaging a large workforce
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service and organizational skills
- Nutrition education and/or background preferred
- Experience with CBORD or similar healthcare food service systems preferred
Job Duties
- Manages patient food service activities complying with established standards
- Leads patient service staff to ensure meals are properly prepared and delivered to patients
- Conducts rounds on patients and departments
- Oversees the diet office and the service ambassador program
- Records safety and sanitation compliance
- Supervises tray line operation and/or the room service program
- Maintains effective client and customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationships
- Identifies client needs and communicates operational progress
- Demonstrates excellent customer service using Aramark's standard service model
- Maintains a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers, and employees
- Complies with all applicable policies, rules, and regulations including safety, health, and wage and hour
