The Patient Service Manager position in Aramark's Food & Nutrition Department plays a crucial role in supporting patient service operations within healthcare settings. This full-time role involves developing and executing dining solutions tailored to meet the nutritional and taste preferences of patients and customers. The manager is responsible for applying technical training and interpreting government-mandated nutritional standards to create healthy menu implementation plans that align with healthcare regulations. This position includes managing patient food service activities to ensure compliance with established standards, supervising staff to guarantee meals are prepared and delivered efficiently, and overseeing various service programs such as the diet office and service ambassador initiatives.

Leading by example, the Patient Service Manager employs Aramark's coaching model to engage and develop team members, promoting a high-performance culture. This role demands maintaining excellent client relationships by understanding and communicating client needs and delivering outstanding customer service consistent with the company’s standards. Financial oversight is also a key responsibility, assisting with departmental financial statements, meeting company financial targets, and educating teams on important operational metrics to drive margin improvements. Job Duties

  • Manages patient food service activities complying with established standards
  • Leads patient service staff to ensure meals are properly prepared and delivered to patients
  • Conducts rounds on patients and departments

  • Supervises tray line operation and the room service program
  • Leverages Aramark's coaching model to engage and develop team members
