This job opportunity is for the position of Patient Services Manager at Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, TX. The Patient Services Manager plays a crucial role in supporting patient services operations by leading frontline teams focused on delivering a high-quality dining experience aligned with nutrition and regulatory standards. This role is responsible for managing food service activities within the hospital environment, ensuring meals are accurately prepared and delivered on time, and maintaining compliance with safety and sanitation standards.

The Patient Services Manager works closely with the Food & Nutrition department to drive patient satisfaction, operational efficiency, and service excellence. Key responsibilities include managing the diet office operations, overseeing the service ambassador program, and supervising tray line or room service operations. Leadership duties involve leveraging Aramark’s coaching model to engage and develop team members, recognizing employee achievements to boost retention, and maintaining safety and performance standards. Additionally, this role supports strong client relationships by maintaining open communication channels with hospital departments and clients, ensuring customer needs are met and service quality is consistently high.

Financial oversight is another vital aspect of this position. The Patient Services Manager assists with preparing and maintaining department financials, monitors key performance metrics related to inventory and costs, and educates the team on financial drivers impacting performance. Productivity and operational excellence are promoted through cost control measures, resource management, and thorough training programs to ensure staff capability. Job Duties

  • Manage patient food service activities in compliance with established standards
  • Lead patient services staff to ensure meals are prepared and delivered accurately and on time
  • Conduct routine rounding on patients and hospital departments to ensure satisfaction and service quality
  • Oversee diet office operations and the service ambassador program
  • Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards
  • Supervise tray line operations and/or room service programs
  • Leverage Aramark’s coaching model to engage and develop team members
  • Reward and recognize employees to drive engagement and retention
  • Ensure individual and team performance meets operational objectives and client expectations
  • Plan and lead daily team briefings
  • Maintain safety and sanitation standards across all operations
  • Maintain effective client and customer relationships to support business success
  • Identify client needs and communicate operational progress
  • Deliver excellent customer service aligned with Aramark’s service model
  • Assist with preparation and maintenance of department financials
  • Support achievement of client and company financial targets
  • Utilize Aramark systems and processes to monitor performance metrics, inventory, and cost trends
  • Educate team members on key drivers that impact financial performance
  • Drive operational efficiency through cost control and effective resource management
  • Support food and labor initiatives aligned with Operational Excellence standards
  • Ensure team is trained and capable of executing responsibilities
