The Patient Service Manager role within Aramark’s Food & Nutrition Department focuses on supporting patient services operations by developing and executing dining solutions tailored to meet patient and customer needs and tastes. This position involves using technical expertise and interpreting government-mandated nutritional standards in the healthcare industry to develop healthy menu implementation plans, ensuring compliance with quality and safety requirements. The role requires overseeing patient food service activities to maintain established dining standards and leading a dedicated team who prepare and deliver meals to patients effectively. The Patient Service Manager conducts rounds to ensure service quality, supervises the diet office and service ambassador program, manages tray line operations and room service programs, and records safety and sanitation compliance.
Leadership responsibilities include engaging and developing team members using Aramark’s coaching model, recognizing employee achievements, and ensuring both individual and team performance meets organizational and client expectations. Daily team briefings are planned and led by this role to promote communication and operational excellence. Additionally, the Patient Service Manager is responsible for maintaining strong client and customer relationships by identifying needs and communicating operational progress utilizing excellent customer service practices.
Financial performance is another critical aspect where the Patient Service Manager assists in preparing and maintaining financial statements related to the department, working to achieve financial targets through effective cost controls and profit management. The role mandates compliance with food and labor initiatives under Operational Excellence fundamentals and encourages training team members to ensure consistent quality and control. Ensuring a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers, and employees is mandatory, alongside adherence to all relevant policies and regulations concerning safety, health, and wage and hour laws.
This salaried position offers compensation ranging from $65,000 to $80,000 and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and more.
