Joining Sodexo as a Patient Service Manager 2 at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center offers an exciting opportunity to blend leadership, patient care, and operational excellence. This role is vital in ensuring that patient experiences are optimal by maintaining close collaboration with clinical nutrition, environmental services, and transport services teams. The Patient Service Manager 2 will implement quality improvement initiatives, serve as a liaison among dietitians, nurse managers, ancillary staff, and other Sodexo managers to enhance patient experiences comprehensively.

This position requires a passionate individual committed to helping people and pays great attention to detail with an emphasis on leadership within a hospital setting. Responsibilities include rounding with patients, families, and nursing personnel to understand their needs and concerns, collecting and analyzing patient satisfaction data, and communicating findings with interdisciplinary teams to drive continuous improvements. Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • Two years of management experience
  • Two years of functional experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering, institutional services, or mall food courts
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams
  • Proficient in data collection and analysis
  • Commitment to quality improvement

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years management experience
  • Minimum 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering, institutional services, or mall food courts
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proven leadership capabilities
  • Experience in quality improvement initiatives
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data

Job Duties

  • Rounding with patients, families, and nursing personnel

  • Informing patients about the Patient Transport program
