At McLaren Greater Lansing in Lansing, MI, Sodexo is recruiting a dedicated Patient Services Manager 2 to lead and manage the patient dining program. This role is crucial in ensuring patients receive exceptional service from meal delivery to the overall dining experience, significantly impacting patient satisfaction and comfort. The Patient Services Manager is responsible for collaborating with clinical and interdisciplinary teams to optimize food service delivery while maintaining high standards of nutritional excellence and service recovery. The manager will oversee daily operations, including meal rounding and tray assessments, ensuring food quality, presentation, and tray accuracy meet rigorous standards.

Job Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 2 years management experience
  • minimum 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts
  • excellent leadership and communication skills
  • knowledge of nutrition and specialized diets
  • strong management skills, preferably in healthcare
  • ability to implement company policies and maintain high standards
  • passion for patient care and customer service

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Evaluate and develop service levels for the overall Patient Services Program targeted to exceed patient and customer satisfaction
  • oversee Sodexo's Patient Dining Program and daily meal rounding inclusive of service recovery
  • collaborate with clinical, food service and interdisciplinary teams to enhance the patient experience
  • perform tray assessments to ensure food quality and presentation and tray accuracy
  • exceed Sodexo standards for Gold Checks and achieve successful regulatory inspections and audits
  • perform management functions that include direct supervision of hourly associates including employee development
