Sodexo is currently seeking a Patient Services Manager to oversee the patient dining program at McClaren Macomb in Mount Clemens, MI. This role is pivotal in driving patient satisfaction by ensuring exceptional service standards, facilitating effective communication, and promptly resolving patient concerns related to dining services. The Patient Services Manager will serve as a link between clinical teams, food service staff, and interdisciplinary departments to deliver a seamless, compassionate dining experience tailored to patient needs.
The Patient Services Manager is responsible for developing and evaluating service levels within the Patient Services Program to consistently exceed patient and customer expectations. This includes the oversight of Sodexo’s Patient Dining Program, managing daily meal rounds, and conducting service recovery efforts to address any issues. A key aspect of this role involves performing tray assessments to ensure food quality, presentation, and accuracy meet the highest standards.
Additionally, the Patient Services Manager plays a critical role in maintaining compliance with Sodexo standards through Gold Checks and preparation for regulatory inspections and audits. Their leadership extends to managing hourly associates in patient services, including employee development and motivation to uphold Sodexo’s CARES values: Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Enthusiasm, and Service.

Job Duties
- evaluate and develop service levels for the overall patient services program targeted to exceed patient and customer satisfaction
- oversee Sodexo’s patient dining program and daily meal rounding inclusive of service recovery

- perform tray assessments to ensure food quality and presentation and tray accuracy
- exceed Sodexo standards for Gold Checks and achieve successful regulatory inspections and audits
- perform management functions that include direct supervision of hourly associates including employee development
