- Six months previous experience with one-on-one customer service interaction
- Previous computer data entry experience
- Serve Safe certification
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand or walk frequently

- Preferred one year of college level education with nutritional emphasis
Job Duties
- Ensure high quality, great-tasting and well-presented foods are served within established time frames
- Verify all patients receive accurate and appropriate meal services according to prescribed diets
- Review menu, census and production needs to manage daily functions
- Assist in purchasing foods and supplies within cost restraints
- Assist in preparation of food cost reports for inpatient areas
- Monitor staff daily to ensure proper use of systems, protocols and quality assurance tools
- Assist in menu adjustments based on customer preferences, seasonal variations and cost objectives
- Visit all patient service areas daily to assess satisfaction and communicate findings
- Ensure employee practices meet HACCP and infection control standards
- Comply with federal, state and local regulatory requirements
- Follow human resource policies and treat employees with fairness and respect
- Participate in scheduling, performance appraisals and discipline
- Assist with orientation and training of staff, including in-service programs
- Communicate regularly with staff and hold daily team meetings
- Serve as a role model by maintaining appearance, attendance and meal break standards
- Enforce safety standards, submit maintenance requests, and report safety problems
- Ensure sanitation standards and cleaning procedures are followed and signed off
- Monitor and address temperatures in Temp Trak
- Develop working rapport with staff in other departments
- Open and close the department, ensuring security
- Complete other related duties as assigned
