Job Description

MyEyeDr. is a premier healthcare company specializing in total vision care, offering a unique retail experience focused on providing exceptional and personalized eye care services. As a high-growth organization, MyEyeDr. combines trusted community doctors with knowledgeable teams to deliver the highest quality vision care to patients in a welcoming and inclusive environment. Their business model stands apart by accepting all insurance plans and offering a wide range of stylish eyewear that caters to diverse patient needs. At MyEyeDr., every interaction is centered on helping patients live their best lives by providing personalized and accessible eye health services.

The role of Patient Service Coordinator at MyEyeDr. is a vital position responsible for managing the front desk operations during patient check-in and check-out. This part-time or full-time position demands a flexible schedule, including some evening and weekend shifts, to meet the needs of patients and support office operations effectively. No prior optical experience is necessary, as comprehensive training and development programs are available to equip new hires with the knowledge and tools to excel in this role. Reporting to the Office General Manager, the Patient Service Coordinator is essential in ensuring a smooth and positive patient experience from the moment of arrival through departure.

In this role, you will provide personalized customer service during patient check-ins and check-outs, ensuring efficient and seamless interactions for every patient. You will become well-versed in insurance plans to educate and assist patients with their coverage options, enhancing their understanding and confidence during appointments. Appointment scheduling, patient outreach, and confirmations will also be part of your responsibilities, requiring excellent communication and multitasking skills. As a team player, you will collaborate closely with doctors and other office staff to maintain a supportive and organized environment that prioritizes patient care.

Flexibility is vital in this role, as you may be cross-trained in other office support functions such as Eyewear Consultant or Optometric Technician roles, depending on the office's needs. This versatility not only broadens your skill set but also contributes to a dynamic and efficient office workflow. If you are organized, patient-focused, and skilled in managing multiple tasks under pressure, this opportunity with MyEyeDr. offers a rewarding path to start or advance your career in the healthcare industry.

Beyond daily duties, MyEyeDr. supports its employees with ongoing training and growth opportunities, including role-specific training programs and potential bonuses or commissions based on performance. The company also offers a comprehensive benefits package featuring medical and dental insurance, tax-free savings plans, life insurance, vision coverage, associate discounts, a 401K retirement plan with a competitive matching program, and paid time off from the first day.

Joining MyEyeDr. means becoming part of a purpose-driven organization committed to inclusion and equality. The company is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and provides a discrimination-free workplace. By joining this innovative vision care company, you will contribute to a mission of helping people see, look, and be their best, all while growing professionally in a supportive and energetic team environment.
